Katertreffen / Cat Meeting

Pardl hängt in einem Baum herum. Das Leben ist langweilig! Die Kinder haben alle irgendwo Spaß, er ist ganz alleine.

 

Pardl lies in a tree. Life is boring! The children all have fun somewhere, he is all alone.

 

Nichts geschieht. Rein gar nichts. Und gaaanz alleine... 

Wirklich?

 

Nothing happens. Nothing! And all alone... 

Really?

 

Etwas - jemand! - nähert sich. Pardl guckt verstohlen aus dem Augenwinkel... 

 

Something - somebody! - is nearing. Pardl looks underhand out of the corner of his eye... 

 

Einer wie ich! Könnte mein Spiegelbild sein! Oooooh!

 

One like me! Could be my mirror! Awww!
 

Das IST mein Spiegelbild! Boaaah! Toooll! Hallo Spiegelbild!

 

This IS my mirror! Whew! Great! Hello mirror...

Natürlich hat das alles nichts mit Spiegeln zu tun. Paddy und Pardl wußten es nicht, aber sie sind Brüder, getrennt als sehr sehr kleine Kätzchen, und nun haben sie sich wieder gefunden.

 

Naturally, it's nothing about mirrors. Paddy and Pardl did not know, but they are brothers, separated as very very little kitten, and now they have found each other.

Normalerweise würden zwei männliche Leoparden kämpfen. Aber diese beiden sind zu glücklich, einen Bruder gefunden zu haben. Oder sind sie nun Cousins? Pardl hat eine kleinere Nase aber mehr Schnurrhaare als Paddy, so kann man sie unterscheiden...

 

Normally, two male leopards would fight. But these two are too happy to have found a bro. Or a cousin. Pardl has a smaller nose but more whiskers than Paddy, so you can tell them apart...

...aber ihr glücklich schnurrendes Grinsen ist gleich!

 

... but their happy purring smile is all the same!
