Abschlußrennen / Farewell Race

Weil sich morgen vieles ändern wird - Honey kehrt nach Hause zurück, Rick möchte bleiben aber Clara wird dazukommen - und somit beide Mädchen ein bißchen traurig sind und Peter sehr traurig und verstört ist, weil Bianca noch immer verschwunden ist, und Rick hin- und hergerissen ist zwischen der Idee weiterer Ferien mit so vielen Pferden und dem Heimweh nach Mama und Papa, haben wir ein Abschlußrennen arrangiert.

Since tomorow things will change - Honey will go back home, Rick wants to stay but Clara will arrive - and so both girls are a bit sad and Peter ist very sad and disturbed because Bianca still is missing, and Rick is a bit torn between the idea of more holidays with so much horses and missing his mum and dad, we arranged a farewell-race for them.

Ein Kopf-an-Kopf-Start.

 A nose-near-nose-start.

Und ab die Post!

And off they go!

Rick auf Hans übernimmt die Führung.

Rick on Hans takes the lead.

Adelheid auf Don Alfonso greift von hinten an.

Adelheid on Don Alfonso attacks from behind.

Sie passiert Peter auf Ilka...

She passes Peter on Ilka...

... holt weiter auf, so wie Peter...
 ...catches up, as Peter does...

... und übernimmt klar die Führung, dicht gefolgt von Hans, der seinerseits von Ilka verfolgt wird. Igor liegt jetzt hinten.

... and overtakes the lead, followed by Hans who is chased by Ilka. Igor now is last.

Sie erreichen offenes Land. Ilka scheint das zu mögen, sie liegt nun vorne, gefolgt von Don Alfonso und Hans. Es sieht aber so aus, als würde Igor aufholen.

They reach open range. Ilka seems to like that, she is now leading, followed by Don Alfonso, then Hans, but it seems Igor catches up a bit.

In der Tat, Igor führt - und Hans holt auf!
Yes indeed now Igor leads - and Hans coming soon!

Ja ja ja! Igor, der große starke Wallach, ist Erster!

Yes yes yes! Igor the big strong gelding is first!

Wieder auf dem Weg. Hans übernimmt die Führung.

On the road again. Hans takes the lead.

Doch nun, nun... Ilka!!! Ilka holt auf! Wird sie das Rennen machen?
But now...now... Ilka!!! Ilka catches up! Will she make the race???

Aber da, der starke Hengst Don Alfonso greift wieder von hinten an, und Igor... was macht Igor? Wird auch er aufholen? Was für ein Rennen! Was für ein Rennen!!!

But there strong stallion Don Alfonso once again attacks from behind, and Igor... what is Igor doing? Will he catch up, too? What a race, what a raaace!!!
