Zwei Brüder / Two Brothers

Peter und Rick haben sich zwei Renner gesattelt. Das macht die Unterhaltung zu einer Art Speed Date.

 

Peter and Rick have saddled two racers. This makes talking a kind of speed date.

"Du, Rick? Ich freu mich total, daß du jetzt für immer bei uns wohnst. Jetzt bist du mein Bruder! Ich glaube ich hatte noch nie einen Bruder."

"Ich bin auch glücklich. Du bist jetzt mein einziger Bruder. Vorher hatte ich mehr als ein Dutzend."

 

"Ahm, Rick? I'm totally happy about your decision to stay and live with us. Now you are my brother! As far as I know I never had a brother before."

"I'm happy, too. You are my only brother now. Before, I had more than a dozen."

"Aber ist es nicht lustig mit vielen Brüdern?"

 

"But isn't it funny to live with many brethren?"

"Lustig ist es. Aber da ist ein Problem das du nicht unterschätzen solltest."

"Und welches?"

 

"Funny it is. But there is one problem you shouldn't underestimate."

"And which one?" 

"Schokolade. Du mußt immer deine Schokolade teilen. Weil wir jetzt zu zweit sind, ist das einfach. Aber überleg mal: bei mehr als einem Dutzend Brüder?"

 

"Chocolate. You always have to share your chocolate. Since we are two, that's easy. But imagine: with more than a dozen brethren?"

"Okay das IST ein Problem. Bist du sicher daß das der einzige Grund ist, bei uns zu wohnen?"

"Oh Mann. Ich veräppel dich grad! Junge, du hast jetzt 'n BRUDER!!!"

 

"Okay that IS a problem. Sure this is the only reason to live with us now?"

"Forget it. I'm kidding! You've got a bro now, man!!!"
