Das Wetter ist verschärft eklig. Also besuchen die Kinder das Zwergenhaus, wo die Cousins einen Indoor-Hundeplatz haben.

 

The weather is terrible. So the kids went to the gnome home where the cousins have an indoor-dog-training-place.

 

Notso ist ein bißchen traurig, denn er hatte gehofft Rick zu treffen. Aber Rick ist mit Kopfweh zuhause geblieben. Statt seiner ist Peter gekommen, und er und Notso finden gleich einen Draht zueinander. 

 

Notso is a bit disappointed. He had hoped to meet Rick. But Rick has stayed at home because of some headache. So it is Peter who came for him, and he and Notso soon find common ground.

 

Aber jetzt beginnen wir das Training! Tantchen, die normalerweise Dackel in ihrem Dackelclub trainiert, gibt die Kommandos. Zuerst ein wenig laufen mit den Hunden bei Fuß.

Jetzt "Sitz". Ääääh... Toby... nicht vorsitzen... und Snoby: "Sitz", nicht "Platz".

Das üben wir nochmal, aber jetzt:

...bilden wir zwei Reihen. Hunde auf eine Seite, Kinder auf die andere. Hunde: Sitz und Bleib!

Das ist eine sehr schwere Übung.

This is very difficult exercise.

 

Jetzt Fritz heranrufen! Fritz kommt. Braaav! Aber was ist da drüben los? Ist das Sitz und Bleib?

 

Now call Fritz! Fritz comes. Fine! But what's over there? Is this sit and stay?

 

Cinnamon, deine Hunde... kein guter Heranruf. Und Snoby liegt.

 

Cinnamon, your dogs... this is no good call. And Snoby is down.

 

Snoby! Sitz! Toby, laß das Pföteln...

 

Snoby! Sit! Toby! Don't pad...

 

Toby! Hiiier... Snoby!!! Zurück! Mephisto! Sitz!

 

Toby! Cooome! Snoby!!! Back! Mephisto! Sit!

 

Äääh... nicht wirklich.

 

Uuuh! Not really!

 

"Snoby! Sitz!"

"Mephistoo! Hiiiier..."

 

"Snoby! Sit!"

"Mephiiistoo coome here..."

 

Das klappt! Und nicht vergessen: was wir hier machen ist eine der schwierigsten Übungen überhaupt.

 

This works! And remember: what we do here is one of the most difficult exercise ever in dog training.

Endlich darf auch Snoby herankommen. Braaaver Junge! Naja, und so schlecht lief es doch gar nicht - niemand ist vollkommen...

 

Finally Snoby is allowed to come. Good boy! Well, this did not work too bad - nobody is perfect...

Booah! Geschafft! Und jetzt: Spielen!
