Peter und Ruth sind auf dem Weg zum Zwergenhaus. Sie wollen Marty und Cody besuchen.

 

Peter and Ruth are on their way to the Gnome Home. They want to visit Marty and Cody. 

 

Hier blühen wunderschöne Blumen. Die Kinder und die beiden schwarzen Pudel genießen die vielfältigen Gerüche.

 

Here are beautiful flowers blooming. The kids and the two black poodles enjoy the manyfold scents.

 

Zwei schwarze Pudel? Ja, Mami hat es gemanagt, daß der Streuner bleiben durfte. Wir haben ihn "Goethe" genannt. Er sieht aus wie ein Goethe und der Name scheint ihm zu gefallen.

 

Two black poodles? Yes, mummy has managed so the stray can stay. We've called him "Goethe" because he looks like a Goethe. He seems to like the name.

Hier sind Marty und Cody. Cody hat De Niro dabei und wirkt nervös, Marty hat noch mit dem übellaunigen Gnom beim Schuppen zu tun.

 

Here are Marty and Cody. Cody has De Niro with him and seems nervous, Marty is busy with the grumpy gnome at the shed.

Marty sagt: "Der blöde Gnom weiß angeblich auch nicht, wo sie sind!"

Cody erklärt: "Die Schnucken sind weg und De Niro kapiert nicht daß er sie suchen soll!"

Stimmt - De Niro fängt gleich an, mit Goethe und Mephisto zu spielen. Aber dann...

 

Marty says: "That stupid gnome says he doesn't know where they are!".

Cody explains: "The heaths are astray, and De Niro doesn't understand that we want him to find them!"

That's right - De Niro starts playing with Goethe and Mephisto. But then...

 

... sausen die Pudel los zum Lehmofen. Tatsache, da sind die Heidschnucken. Wollen sie sich braten lassen?

 

... the poodles dash away to the clay oven. Indeed - here are the heaths. Do they think heaths need heat?
 

Die Schnucken machen Front gegen die Pudel. Die Kinder rufen die Hunde zurück.

 

The heaths make stand against the poodles. The children call the dogs back.

Dann lassen sie die Hunde eine Eskorte für die Schnucken bilden. So beginnt die Karriere als Schafpudel ziemlich schnuckelig...

 

Then they form the dogs to an escort for the heaths.

So the career of the dogs as sheep poodles begins a bit "heathen"...

 

Aber es klappt: ab geht's zurück auf die Weide! Gute Jungs!!!

 

But it works: off they go back to the meadow. Good boys!!!
